2210 is a survey of the forms and methods of communication used in business,  industry and government, including nonformal and formal reports, letters, resumes and proposals.

The class is taught in the Networked Writing Environment, a computer integrated classroom with networked Unix terminals, so the class takes advantage of current information technology.

The standard text for this class is Mike Markel's Technical Communication. 6th Edition. Boston: Bedford / St. Martin's, 2001 and it's accompanying website.
