The online journal is a message board type program that will replace handwritten readings journals for this class. The following link (when activated) will take you to the messageboard where you will see a prompt heading from me (Zach Whalen).  Your assignment each week is to respond to that prompt in at least 100 words (a medium-length paragraph).

I will grade each entry primarily for completeness, but I will also award a grade of a check, check-plus, or check-minus based on the quality of the entry.  Your grades for each entry (total of 15) will be averaged together at the end of the semester to form 15 percent of your final grade.
